MCE Customizer (Vista) Beta available for download
Last week on this blog – I previewed MCE Customizer for Vista MediaCenter… (a MCPL based addin from Oclay Buyan at MCEDev)
Olcay has just let me know that the beta version of this addin has now been made available for public download – on the MCEDev website. This addin is looking really slick – so give it a try - and start making all the tweaks you need to optimize your MediaCenter experience.
Looks good for first release beta…..
A few navigation problems with Back – especiallly when you have played around a little, screen looks awkward at start with wrap around text – but overall quite good….
Wonder if the Pre / Post padding stuff actually works better this time round – never properly worked in MCE2005
Wonder if the reset EPG disable stuff would help us ICETV guys ?
Look forward to more!

Hi – I’ll pass these comments back onto Olcay.
I haven’t yet tested the pre/post padding – but as a fellow Aussie – I hope these work properly for Vista (I dont think a single tv commercial station runs anything on time anymore here!)..
The EPG kill switch disable is the same hack as what is in the IceTV installer 1.5 (so it’s only needed if you are using the 1.4 version).
